Children’s Classes

Classes for children allow a community’s youngest members to practice their God-given qualities, such as kindness, generosity, patience and compassion. Parents, teens and young adults teach these classes and create an environment where children feel they belong to the community and share in its purpose.

A Grassroots Approach

In urban and rural settings, in neighborhoods and communities around the world, children come together to learn about spiritual qualities “virtues”. In an open and joyful environment, children of all cultural and religious backgrounds explore how these qualities influence their own conduct, and their wider society.

About the Program

These classes are open to children of all backgrounds, and are often run in collaboration with their families. The classes are inspired by the teachings of the Baha’i faith and aim to inspire in children a love for all human virtues, and for living a good life. The classes include short lessons, activities to build social skills and friendships, games, stories that illustrate virtues, like love, kindness, generosity, and art and music.
